About this experience

Austin barbecue is a queue as much as it is a meal. This walk skips the standing and keeps the eating: three east-side pits in one afternoon, with the orders placed ahead so you sit down to a full board at each.

You will learn what post oak does that hickory doesn't, why the fat cap matters, and how to tell a brisket that was rushed. Your guide will also tell you, honestly, which of the famous ones is not worth four hours of your holiday.

Vegetarian boards are available with a day's notice and are genuinely good, not an apology.
